Transformers really had no business being as cool as it was. Robots that turned into cars were already enough, but then someone added robot dinosaurs and basically guaranteed the franchise permanent residence in my brain.

The best part now is watching my daughters get excited about Transformers too. Apparently giant alien robots are hereditary.

And yes, Skids absolutely gets special treatment around here — our Bronco was striped to look like the G1 Skids toy, because subtle fandom has never really been my thing.
