Board games, puzzles, and model kits have been bringing people together (and occasionally testing their sanity) for generations. I desperately want to be one of those people who can sit down, learn a complicated board game, and enjoy a relaxing evening of strategy and friendly competition. Unfortunately, I was born with a complete lack of patience, and games like Wyrmspan leave me wondering whether I need a rulebook, a university degree, or an interpreter. LOL!

Puzzles aren’t much better. I love the idea of them, but apparently my attention span didn’t get the memo. The puzzles and model kits in our collection are Shawn’s territory. I may not have the dedication to spend hours assembling tiny pieces or mastering complicated rules, but I absolutely appreciate the creativity, nostalgia, and craftsmanship behind them. And who knows? Maybe one day I’ll actually finish a game without needing someone to explain the rules for the seventeenth time!
