Car Fever has been a staple of the Greater Montreal tuner scene since the late ’90s, with imports, customs, drag racing, drifting and plenty of noise.
One of my favourite memories was in 2009, when I brought my blacked-out G6 and entered the car-audio competition. After some playful trash talk with a few younger local guys, I told them, “Fine. I’m going to let my nine-year-old kick your ass.”
So I entered the competition as Caleb and let him run the show – he won. The trophy still sits in his bedroom 17 years later.
