Back in 2007, I hosted a pumpkin carving contest for friends and family with games, activities and all the usual Halloween nonsense.
Unfortunately, Ontario apparently misunderstood the assignment and gave us snow. We ended up lighting fires just to keep everyone warm while carving pumpkins. It was ridiculous, freezing and completely memorable — which is probably why I still have such a soft spot for creating Halloween events all these years later.?
