September is hands down, one of my favourite months. With the crisp cool air, stepping on crunchy leaves, bundling up in sweaters and scarves — what’s not to love?!
Here are some of the items that I’ve been absolutely loving and have been using regularly this month!
I often shy away from wearing any kind of body sprays and scents. Mainly because it was hard for me to find a scent that suited my personality but wouldn’t give me a headache because of it being too strongly scented. That was until I was rekindled with this scent from the Body Shop thanks to my mom. This scent, called White Musk, has always been my mom’s signature scent. One day earlier in September, I decided to borrow her White Musk spray, and ended up having to get my own because I loved it so much. It’s so light yet smells so refreshingly clean, it’s a perfect scent for everyday wear. Always a big plus — it reminds me of my mother who I adore dearly! Thanks mom for sharing your signature scent with me!
You can find the White Musk fragrance mist on the Body Shop’s website here: https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-ca/fragrance/body-mist/white-musk-fragrance-body-mist/p/p000448
While I love my thick Italian hair, it is notorious for being frizzy and dry during the colder months. I found this product while I was shopping at Winners and they have worked wonders in putting the life back into my hair. This Keratin Oil from Luseta is so light weight and doesn’t make my hair greasy. After I blow dry my hair, or finish styling it, I pump a dime-sized amount onto the palm of my hands and work it into the ends of my hair. This product is wonderful for making the ends of my hair look soft and eliminating the look of breakage.
I like the smell of coconuts – correction – I LOVE the smell of coconuts. This Coconut Vitamin B5 Smoothing Leave-In Conditioner spray from Pharm to Table just reminds me of lounging on a beach and sipping piña coladas. After washing my hair, I spray some in my hair before letting my hair air dry when I sleep. The product is so refreshing and works to make each strand of my hair softer and hydrated.
Just because we’re not wearing flips flops in the Fall season doesn’t mean we have to ignore our feet! After all, colder weather means dry skin. I’ve been using this Healthy Feet foot cream by O’Keeffe’s to help soften and improve the appearance of my feet. This cream has helped repair my dry, cracked feet. Before I go to sleep each night, I apply a little bit on my feet and put on a pair of fuzzy socks. When I wake up, my feet are so soft and moisturized.
I found this product for a steal on Amazon, for less than $10! https://amzn.to/2NSJG64
This Pumpkin Pecan Waffles room spray from Bath and Body Works just summarizes the essence of Fall. I don’t really know if I can give it that much of an explanation, but it smells like waking up to a delicious breakfast on a crisp Sunday morning. YUM!
I’ve had this product for a while, but I haven’t been using it routinely until this month. And boy oh boy, it’s made a difference on my skin. I put a few drops of this 100% Plant Based Squalene serum from the Ordinary on my face during my nighttime skin routine. It’s really helped improve the appearance of my skin and adding its “bounce” back.
Also a plus, it’s like a fraction of the cost of regular skin care items! You can get it from Well Canada for less than $8!
I got this Tarte spray from their sample set when it was on sale at Sephora. I keep the spray in my purse and use it daily when I need to refresh my makeup during the workday.
The larger version of the Ready. Set. Radiant spray is available on the Tarte website: https://tartecosmetics.com/en_CA/athleisure-skincare/ready-set-radiant-skin-mist/966.html
Last, but not least, I’ve been loving this No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream from Living Proof. I just put a small, nickel sized amount and work it into my hair before blow drying. It minimizes the frizz and makes my hair feel super soft!
They have the same travel sized amount available on Amazon : https://amzn.to/2Iqjny0
